Me & Pharrell Williams!
How could my life ever become entwined with Pharrell Williams? It hasn’t, of course, but in my new spirit of letting things take their ‘artistic’ course, I will explain.
- I had decided to revive my music-making as an additional interest/distraction to help me cope with getting through the current coronavirus lockdown.
- I received an email from Soundcloud (I already had an account) regarding a competition they are running where you submit a track for consideration for a compilation they are putting together that reflects the present-day mood.
- I have been dabbling lately and I think a ‘piece’ that most probably fits the bill best concerning the coronavirus situation is unified
- So, uploaded it to Soundcloud and tagged with #SCxiamOTHER as they instructed.
Will I hear anything? Of course not, I’ve got more chance of winning the top prize in the lottery! But that’s not the point. The goal for me now is the enjoyment of the actual process of doing things and just letting chance happenings evolve and take their natural course without necessarily having a defined outcome or aim!
